About
De Han is a curious finder of answers to those questions of nature, market, technology and information. She likes discovering rules of nature and comparing patterns starting from her interest in Physics and Geography. Her undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering fulfills this quest and she is still using some of the concept in Science and Engineering when she is doing machine learning work such as WCSS(Within Cluster Sum of Square) in K-means clustering comes from inertia in Mechanics.
She studied economic and management in one of her elective and she decides to learn more about the rule of "invisible hands", these rules of market or economic are more dynamic and disruptive. She was provided with full scholarship from SCUT School of Management and Pittsburg State University for MBA study and international business in La Rochelle, France.
In her previous 7 years of career path, she mainly worked as an interaction designer and product manager for knowledge sharing or educational technologies. From being an "actor" or lecturer in the teaching process, to being a "director" or curriculum developer, from bringing classroom online to creating online interactive web based courseware or exam system. She explores the world from how is the nature and market like to what kind of product can she created for target users.
Continuing her journey in open information exploring and making use of user|market data, she studied Data Analytics and Visualization from Pratt Institute School of Information in New York, NY. She was also able to get closer to answering more questions that interest her with the advanced certificate in User Experience and Spatial Analysis and Design. She is striving to communicate information to people from different background with help of reliable data insights and compelling visualizations.
